AB ENGLISH 4-1

LOVING YOU”
Love conquers everything, love gives us something, if love conquers everything why tears down falling. I do strongly believe in true love, but the question is where can we find that real love? That’s Airen Arejola in her journey.
Money matters and I do believe in it. Due to financial problem, Airen L. Arejola didn’t able to study in collage. After she graduated high school she was able to enter the world of hardships and difficulties in which she engaged to many works to support her family and her personal needs. Until she was hired as a production operator in Taiyo Yuden Philippines at MEZ 1 Lapu-Lapu City. While she was working on that company she meet a lot of friends until she meet Gina. Gina their working three years ahead from her. Actually they are not close but they are good friends. One day, hi, Ai do you have load in your cell phone? Gina said. Yes I have, why? Airen replied. Is it okay with you to have a call to my husband Ai, because it’s important, Gina said. No problem, here, Airen said. Thank you Ai. After a minute Gina return the cell phone to Airen and saying, Ai the number that I am using is one of my boarders property, his studying at Philsca and impact he don’t have any girlfriend, Gina said. Really? Airen replied. I will inform him about you, is it okay with you? Gina said. Mmmm.. Okay not bad, any way his looking for a girl friend right? And I am a girl and besides I am not a bitter person to any specie hehehe. Airen laughed seeming not interested. Two days after, the said guy texted her, and they started getting to know each other. Time past they felt the same way and become lovers. Until now they cherish the love they have shared. And planning their future for the upcoming years.

That’s my story, this is my life. A simple woman loving to a simple man. I do believe that, there is only one happiness in life, to love and be loved.

It is bounded on the north by the municipality of Asturias, on the east by the cities of Cebu and Mandaue, on the south by the city of Toledo and on the west by Tañon Strait. Balamban has rapidly grown into an industrial municipality primarily because of its shipbuilding industry which catapulated it to a 1st class municipality from a mere 4th class town about a decade ago. Its adjacent location to Cebu City from the west also greatly perked up its economic activities specially after the completion of the Trans-Central Highway, a road network that traverses and connects the scenic mountainous areas of Cebu City and Balamban, a region that is now the subject of great interest for tourism and housing development.

 -BALAMBAN Mountain-

History      Romulus Cabahug portrays Balamban as originally a densely forested area except for a very small portion of land lying along the coastline. Long before the Spanish colonization, there was already a settlement which was first known as Kagma, meaning dry land or dry plains.
There are no definitive records as to when Balamban first became a town. Its official records were destroyed during WW II. But Octogenarians in the 1950’s recall that sometime before 1878, Balamban was already an organized unit with a Spaniard, Capitan Cinaco Gutierez, as its first administrator. Other officials who followed him were Tiniente Emilio Lopez and several Filipinos led by Macario Montejo. After the capitanes were municipal president, the first being Sixto Milan. Santos L. Migallos was the first municipal mayor in 1941.

-ISLAND IN THE SKY-

Island in the Sky is a mountain resort in Barangay Gaas, Balamban. There really isn't much to see except for the wonderful view of mountains. :) My mom just desperately wanted to see the place. Its cool if you just want to enjoy the peace and quiet.

The resort can be reached by V-hires to Balamban (its on the left side). The ones that I saw were GT Express. We passed by a lot of those on the way to the place and going home. The views leading up to Balamban is cool as well coz you get to pass Trans-central Highway. :)
